Needs Analysis

The systematic process of identifying the gap between current and desired performance or knowledge within an organization or among individuals. It determines specific training or development needs, helping to define learning objectives and design effective interventions. (Also known as Training Needs Analysis - TNA).

It's a process to figure out what skills or knowledge people or the company need to improve, by comparing what they can do now versus what they should be able to do.

It ensures that training programs are designed to solve actual problems and meet real skill gaps.
