Clear and specific statements that describe what a learner will be able to know, understand, or do as a result of completing a learning activity, course, or program. They guide content development and assessment.
They are clear statements that tell you exactly what you should know or be able to do after finishing a training or lesson.
They help focus the learning and also tell you what will be tested or evaluated.
