LCMS (Learning Content Management System)
A system specifically designed for the creation, storage, management, and reuse of granular learning content components (often called "learning objects"). Unlike an LMS, which manages learners and courses, an LCMS focuses on managing the content itself, allowing for efficient content development and repurposing.
