Formative Assessment
A type of assessment conducted during the learning process to monitor student learning and provide ongoing feedback. Its purpose is to help learners identify their strengths and weaknesses and target areas for improvement, while also allowing instructors to adjust their teaching.
It's a quick check during learning (like a short quiz or discussion) to see how you're doing and what you need to improve, rather than a final test.
It provides instant feedback to both learners and teachers, helping to guide the learning process.
